Ontryst is a social-feed dating app: date like you post. Instead of a swipe deck, people build a profile from photos, a voice prompt, and short posts, then match by reacting to stories, posts, or voice notes, and slide in with one opening message before the other person can reply. Ontryst also runs Zones — interest-based groups people can join or host — plus stories, live broadcasts, and video calls.
Ontryst launched in Lagos, Kinshasa, and Abidjan and is expanding to additional cities, built to feel native to where its members actually live.

Ontryst does not license, embed, or otherwise depend on third-party content that we are not permitted to use. Every photo, video, voice note, post, story, and message on Ontryst is created and shared directly by our members, who retain ownership of their own content. Nevolut S.A.R.L.U. holds only the limited hosting and display license needed to operate the Service, as described in our Terms of Service.

Core features — building a profile, matching, and messaging matched members — are free. Ontryst also offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (Ontryst Plus and Premium) that unlock features such as unlimited likes, advanced filters, read receipts, longer video calls, and additional Zones, along with one-time à la carte purchases such as Boosts and Super Likes. Every member confirms they are 18 or older during sign-up, and Ontryst requires selfie-based identity verification before a profile can post publicly, so members can trust that who they see is a real, verified person. All content is subject to automated and human moderation, every profile and conversation carries a built-in Report option, and Ontryst maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation.
